I am a final year undergraduate in the Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, India. I am interested in the fields of Manufacturing processes (TIG Welding, Arc Welding), Phase Equilibria, materials characterizations and Mechanical Properties of Materials. I have lab experiences and done relevant courses. Recently I have studied your publications " Management and control of manufacturing cells base.... ". I would like to know more about the available research projects at your lab and appropriate graduate programs at the University.

I have fabricated an innovative Mechanical Hammer using Full and Partial Gear which can be used in daily purposes to obtain higher efficiency by applying less effort which involved a complete application of different mechanical and metallurgical processes which involved welding (TIG Welding, Arc Welding, sheet metals forming).I have also worked on a project Design a plant for a Nickel production by Pyrometallurgy processes and Economic Analysis of plant. I am working on a project "Mechanical Alloying to Obtain Brass-Graphite Metal Matrix Composition" in which I am studying different properties of Alloying materials. I also made an industrial tour to Ordnance Factory Kanpur and Tata Motors Lucknow.

My research statement and other achievements are also mentioned in detail in my resume. I believe that given a chance, I would be able to add significantly to the research work being guided by you.
