The Coronavirus and the US preparedness for the Pandemic

So far two deaths and three cases of unknown origin of people who did not travel outside of US have been reported in the US. This indicates that infection has reached community transmission level which is worrisome. Our eldest daughter just drove up from her home in Connecticut to help out and gave us a tremendous morale boost. My wife and she went shopping for drinking water, canned foods, and other ready to eat meal just in case things get worse. With my recent illness, I have not ventured out of the house (except for doctor visits) or driven the car for one month which are just as well. At this point, no one has any idea how bad this world wide event can get. We can only hope for the best.
