一晃就俩月没有更新了，从浙师大转移到威斯康星麦迪逊总校，入住老鹰山庄（Eagle Heights）, 生活学习基本安顿好了，接下来应该可以回归了。瞄上了威大面向全校的Writing Center，有太多值得我们借鉴学习的地方。第一条就很诱人，所有水平所有学科的学生都可以获得一对一的写作帮助。我们国内不少大学外语学院建起了写作中心，旨在为各学科各专业提供论文润色和写作协助。但是，具体如何开展，各学院对这类写作中心的协助质量有没有信心等等，都还是问题。

Dedicated to the University’s pursuit of excellence in teaching, research, and service, the Writing Center offers—

1. trained, supportive instructors who work one-on-one with students at all levels and in all disciplines

2. trained, supportive undergraduate peer tutors who work one-on-one with students in undergraduate writing-intensive courses across the curriculum

3. an online writing center providing electronic tutoring and instructional materials

4. short-term, non-credit workshops about academic writing

5. reference materials about academic writing, for use by students and faculty

6. convenient access to our resources through multiple locations across campus and online

7. teaching support for faculty and TAs across campus

8. teaching, learning, and leadership opportunities for its staff

9. national leadership in writing center programs, pedagogy, administration and scholarship
