主编Masanori Sugisaka，英国Open University教授，日本大田市Alife Robotics公司首席执行官，发起和主持国际人工生命和机器人技术会议（ICAROB），2006年被授予仪器与控制工程师学会会士。Masanori Sugisaka 1973年毕业于日本Kyushu University电子工程系并于当年任 Kyushu University 电子工程系助理教授。1981-1982学年任美国德雷克塞尔大学电子与计算机工程系客座副教授。1988-2008 年任 Kyushu University 电子工程系教授。2008-2012年任日本文理大学数学与电子工程系教授。1996-2009年在日本政府的支持下致力于人工生命和机器人研究。
