Taxi Driving Behavior Analysis in Latent Vehicle-to-Vehicle Networks: ASocial Influence Perspective

With recentadvances in mobile and sensor technologies, a large amount of efforts have beenmade on developing intelligent applications for taxi drivers, which providebeneficial guide and opportunity to improve the profit and work efficiency.However, limited scopes focus on the latent social interaction within cabdrivers, and corresponding social propagation scheme to share driving behaviorshas been largely ignored. To that end, in this paper, we propose acomprehensive study to reveal how the social propagation affects for betterprediction of cab drivers' future behaviors. To be specific, we firstinvestigate the correlation between drivers' skills and their mutualinteractions in the latent vehicle-to-vehicle network, which intuitively indicatesthe effects of social influences. Along this line, by leveraging the classicsocial influence theory, we develop a two-stage framework for quantitativelyrevealing the latent driving pattern propagation within taxi drivers.Comprehensive experiments on a real-word data set collected from the New YorkCity clearly validate the effectiveness of our proposed framework on predictingfuture taxi driving behaviors, which also support the hypothesis that socialfactors indeed improve the predictability of driving behaviors.

作者的数据：NYCTLC　纽约市出租车和轿车委员会提供的２０１３年整年的包含4晚多个司机和1万4000多辆出租车的接单数据。

这还不是最重要的，因为这个信息可以去找，毕竟是有记录的。如何找到interaction的记录？把他们的所有的私人电台都搜一遍？几乎不可能。

作者也是没得什么了。他说如果两辆车在同一个地方停了超过10分钟，就说他们是有interaction呢。就是这种long time parking作为交流的一个表示。
