两个词（辅音结尾+元音开头）要拼起来，读成一个词，中间不要有停顿。

辅音结尾 ： /l/, /z/ (s), /v/, /n/, /t/, /d/

元音开头： a, at, an, as, all, and, egg, any, of, in, is, it, on, up

In fluent English, when one word ends in a consonant sound （辅音） and the next word begins in a vowel sound （元音）, we link the two sounds together without a pause in between them. So, an egg becomes anegg. Here are some more examples.

1. He's holding an egg.

2. He’s in the garden.

3. I used to believe in Father Christmas, but not any more.

4. I had to give up jogging.

5. He had it in his office.

6. It is a hard-boiled egg, isn't it?

7. eat it all up

8. a host of golden daffodils
