LHCII is stably fixed on TiO2 film without apparent pigment disassembling.
Pigment adsorbed on TiO2 is unstable and easy to be re-dissolved into acetonitrile.
The adsorbance is an important factor affecting the cell performance.
The adsorption models are proposed for LHCII and pigments.
The strategies for further study are discussed.
