Background:
Data-Intensive Scalable Computing Lab at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is seeking two motivated post-doctoral research fellows in the area of cloud computing and green data centre. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to,
* Data Centre Energy Modelling and Prediction
* Software-Defined Data Centre
* Big-Data Analytics in Cloud
* Advanced Data Mining and Machine Learning Algorithms and Applications

Responsibilities:
The research fellow is expected to conduct high quality researches in theoretical research and system prototype, and has opportunities to collaborate with top researchers around the world. The research fellow will also have the opportunity to manage the highly-visible project and mentor junior team members. The appointment is normally for one year with possible extensions. The salary is highly competitive for strong candidates.

Applicants for these positions should satisfy the following requirements:
* PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or a related discipline
* Research experience with strong publication records in international conferences and prestigious journals
* Competency in Linux programming and system development
* Excellent communication and writing skills in English, and ability to work in a dynamic environment
* Candidate(s) with related experience in industry projects are particularly encouraged to apply. At least one or two-year industry experiences are required, but fresh graduate can also apply if having experience in real system development.
