Many people say that the unexamined life is not worth living.

to make something so important, as if it is an integral part of life, requires a lot of cautious thinking and careful examination.

I say, let us live happily and smoothly without ups and downs. Life should be pleasant and you can learn and move forward through love, listening to others' advice and positive behavior. I have a good friend, she is pretty and easy-going. she has bad moods, but she never let it stay. she would wave it away. Another friend of mine, born to a happy family, is quite humorous and positive about everything. As far as i know, they live a happy and smooth life and they tend to live like that forever. I believe many people live that way, without much disturbance and build a happy, even successful life step by step.

many famous characters in history lived a smooth life,too. In history, although the outside circumstances are turmoil or even precarious, many people find their inner peace and live a happy life. They did not endure much hardship or sufferings, such as, Zengguofan, Guhongming and so on.

what i am trying to say here is not that people cannot have bad moods, but that life is worth living whether it is examined or not. The smooth life has its unique charm, and no body want to suffer.

Only a few in history have their lives examined and still retain a positive attitute. Su shi is one of them. He was degraded from the court and exiled to remote areas, however, he was always happy and never lost his faith in life. Wherever he went, he could make life better there both for himself and for the locan resident. He is a rare species, most of people, when they suffer, they die in depression. That is why there are so many people were judege as "怀才不遇"， that is, not able to exert one's talent to its fullest extent. I must say, they donot treat themselves well, because indulging in a bad situation all the time would not help save the course, only to make it worse. So Sushi had once criticized Quyuan, a great thinker of Chu Guo in warring sate period, that if he could bend himself a little bit he could serve his people better. sometimes we are so engrossed in our way of life style and our moral standard, that we fail to fulfill our destined duty.

If I could choose, I would want to live a smooth life, not examined but always push forward by inner drive.  I might be able to succeed or not,  but i will  always  be happy and harbor hope in my heart for a better tomorow.
