ESA年会上一帮人组织了个session,题目就叫Towards an integrated understanding of terrestrial

ecosystem feedbacks to climate change。与会者最后给了3条建议（详见附件文章）：

(1)focusing on the connection between aboveground and belowground

processes; (2) using models to generate testable hypotheses;

and (3) integrating observations, experiments, and modeling across

a range of spatial and temporal scales.
