My right eyesight was 'none' for about a year from March 2016 - Jan. 2017 Retina detachment, out of the blue. Undergone PP vitrectomy surgery. Due to financial hardship, I waited a year to have cataract surgery. Now my eyesight is back but $400 add-on procedure to correct astigmatism resulted in over-correction by my own judgement. There's a film 'Something God made' about John Hopkins two heart surgeons that develop procedure to operate on infant with heart defects. I wrote a poem 'Eye witness'. I think I can post it here as a blog. Thanks for writing diaries and blogs for the past 60 years!
