CRLB for the localization error in the presence of fading (在衰落存在情况下无限传感器定位的CRLB)
Abstract (英文摘要):
Localization accuracy is crucial in sensor networks. A wireless sensor network (WSN) with M anchors at known locations
and 1 node, whose location needs to be estimated, is
considered. The estimation is based on time of arrival in the
presence of fading channels. The Cramer-Rao lower bound
(CRLB) for localization error in the presence of fading is derived
under different scenarios. Firstly, fading coefficients are
considered as unknown random nuisance parameters with a
prior distribution. The ML estimator in a fading environment
is derived. If the distribution of fading is unknown to the estimator
then the modified CRLB (MCRLB) can be applied.
The CRLB of localization error in the presence of fading is
compared with the CRLB in the absence of fading, both theoretically
and numerically.
