控键科学与工程

旨在交流在表面,缺陷,晶界, 纳米颗粒等低配位和杂质,界面等混配位原子键的键合及电子动力学行为以及对物体的宏观物理化学性能的影响的研究心得体会。

从键和非键的形成、断裂、弛豫、振动和相应的电子转移、极化、局域化和高密度化等的动力学角度出发揭示,预测和控制功能材料的宏观行为将成为必然。

主要兴趣及工作:
On the basis of Pauling & Goldschmidts’ Atomic CN-Radius Correlation (1947 & 1927), Pauling’s Ice Rule (1935), and Anderson’s Strong Localization (1979), we have systematically attended to:

1) H-bond relaxation & vibration dynamics & H2O anomalies;
2) C, N, O chemisorption bond-band-barrier forming dynamics;
3) undercoordination-induced local bond contraction and quantum entrapment & densification of energy & bonding charge;
4) polarization of nonbonding electrons by ill-coordination induced local quantum entrapment & densification;
5) Local bond averaging approach of meso-mechano-thermo dynamics of materials;
6) Zone-resolved quantitative photoelectron spectroscopy (ZPS) at the atomic scale;
7) ZPS distilled graphitic Dirac-Fermi polarons & classified adatom & alloy catalysts;
8) Raman quantification of the length, energy, compressibility, Debye temperature, force constant & relaxation dynamics of bonds;
9) STM/S/VLEED quantification of 4-stage Cu3O2 bonding kinetics;
10)Deisgn materials for blue light emission, diamond-metal adhesion, superelasticiy, photonic switch, and surface function for biosensors, etc.
